You can find us at Shop No 12 on the ground round of Chatri Chowk, which is right near the Sawakar Complex. Being in this part of town means there is always something going on outside the windows. The shop isn't huge, but we managed to fit everything we need into the space. Most days at Yes Optical & Contact Lense Clinic start with wiping down the glass cases and making sure the frames are all sitting straight on the shelves. It’s easy to miss the entrance if you are walking too fast past the complex, so we usually keep the door propped open a bit when it isn't too dusty out. People from the neighborhood stop in quite a bit, sometimes just to get their nose pads adjusted or to talk about how their vision is changing. We have a small area for the lenses and the tools we use for the contact lens fittings. It feels a bit crowded when three or four people are inside at once, but we make it work. The light in Chatri Chowk is pretty bright in the afternoon, which helps when people are trying on different styles. I’ve spent a lot of years in this shop and I know where every single screw and cloth is kept. It’s just a normal local spot where we do our work and watch the traffic go by the Sawakar Complex. We stay until the evening when the shops around us start closing up.
