You have to head out to Marwad, which is part of the Amalner Taluka in Jalgaon, to find us. We are right there at the Post office area. Being in Jalgaon, we are surrounded by farms and fields, which makes sense since we deal with agro products. Our daily life is very much tied to the seasons and what the local farmers are growing in their fields. When it’s harvest time, this place gets incredibly busy. Trucks and tractors are coming in and out, loaded with grain or whatever else is in season. The dust can get everywhere when the wind picks up across the plains. We spend our time checking the quality of the produce, weighing bags, and making sure everything is stored properly so it doesn't spoil. It’s hot work, especially during the peak of summer when Jalgaon gets famous for its heat. We don’t have fancy air conditioning in the warehouse, just big open doors and the hope for a breeze. Most of the people working here are from the nearby villages. We know the families and we know the land. It’s not a corporate setup with meetings and slideshows. We talk over the bags of produce and decide things based on how the crop looks that year. It’s a simple way of doing business, rooted in the soil and the hard work of the local community. We just keep things moving.
