Our place, Shivkrupa Cotspin Private Limited, is located out on Virwade Road in Chopda, which is part of the Jalgaon district. If you're looking for us, we're at Gat No. 724/2. It’s a bit out of the main town, which is good because we need the space for the spinning work we do. Cotton is big in Jalgaon, so we are right in the middle of where everything happens with the crops. We spend our days dealing with the spinning machines and making sure the yarn comes out the way it should. It’s noisy and it can get quite warm in the facility, but that’s just part of the job. We aren't some big fancy firm from Mumbai; we're just local people who know how to work with cotton. Sometimes the power goes out or a machine breaks down, and we have to scramble to get things back on track. My brother and a few cousins help run things, and we have a group of workers who have been with us for a long time. We don't have a marketing department or any glossy brochures. Most of our customers are other businesses that need the yarn we spin. We just try to do an honest day's work and keep the quality decent. The road out here to Virwade can be a bit bumpy, but it’s where we’ve set up our roots. It’s a practical life, and we’re okay with that.
