Shiddhesh Clinic

I started this place because I saw people in Vrundavan Colony needed a spot nearby where they could just walk in when they didn’t feel right. Shiddhesh Clinic isn't some fancy hospital with glass walls or shiny floors. It is just a small space at number 19 on Jalgaon Road. Most days, I am here early, opening up the shutters and wiping down the chairs in the waiting area. The sun hits the front window around ten in the morning, and that is usually when the first few people start showing up. Some come because they have a cough that won't go away, and others just want their blood pressure checked before they go to work. We have a small desk where we keep the records in paper files. It gets a bit crowded on Monday mornings, but people are usually patient and sit on the bench outside if there is no room. The fan in the corner makes a bit of a clicking noise, but it keeps the air moving. I have lived around Jalgaon Road for a long time, so I know most of the families who live in the colony. It is nice to see a familiar face and ask how their kids are doing while we talk about their health. We don't have much of a staff, just a couple of us making sure things stay clean and the medicine is kept in the right spot. It’s just how things are here.
