Sheetal Hospital Ring Road

Our diabetes clinic is located inside Sheetal Hospital at number 16 Dinanathwadi, right on the Ring Road. We focus specifically on sugar levels and all the things that go along with that. The clinic is one of the busy sections of the hospital because so many people in the area need their regular checks. We have a small room where we take blood samples and another where the patients sit down to talk about their diet and their numbers. It’s a lot of paperwork and looking at charts to see how things have changed since the last visit. The Ring Road outside is always full of cars and buses, so there is a lot of dust and noise that comes in if we leave the front doors open too long. Most of our patients are regulars who we have known for years. They come in once a month or so, and we’ve gotten to know their families and their routines. The furniture is a bit old, and the chairs in the waiting area have been sat on by a lot of people over the years. We keep our supplies in metal cabinets that clank when you shut them. It’s a very routine kind of place, but that’s what people need when they are managing a condition like diabetes. We just keep our heads down and do the testing and the talking, making sure every record is updated properly before the next person comes in.
