Our business is located in Jalgaon at the V V Market. We actually have Shops 4, 5, and 6 there. Having three shops next to each other gives us enough room to spread out our media equipment and desks. V V Market is a central place so there are always people coming and going. You can hear the sounds of the market all day long. We started Sarjana Media because we wanted to have a solid base in Jalgaon for this kind of work. The shops are not huge but they are practical for what we need. We spend most of our hours editing or planning media projects for our clients. Sometimes we have to move stuff between the three shops which keeps us moving. It isn't a fancy studio like you might see in the big cities. It is just a workspace where we get things done. We usually keep the shop shutters halfway down if we are really focusing on something. There are a lot of other businesses around us like garment shops and grocery stores. We get our tea from the same guy every afternoon. It is a very local way of working. We don't use any complicated systems or have a big corporate structure. We just handle the work as it comes in and try to stay organized. Being in the market means we are never bored because something is always happening outside our doors.
