Ramnanda Clinic

Our clinic is located over in Jalgaon, Maharashtra. It is a regular place where we spend our days seeing whoever comes in from the neighborhood. Jalgaon can get really hot in the summer months, so we usually have the fans running at full speed from early morning until we close up at night. The clinic isn't very big, but it is enough for the work we do. We have a small waiting area with a few benches that have been there for years. People from the nearby streets know us well and often just walk in when they aren't feeling right. It's a quiet sort of life here most of the time, though it picks up in the evenings when people are finished with their work and have time to visit. We have some cabinets filled with supplies and a desk where we keep our logs. The walls could probably use a new coat of paint, but we haven't gotten around to that yet. We just focus on the people who come through the door. Sometimes we have tea brought in from the stall down the road and sit for a minute when it's slow. Being in Jalgaon means we see a lot of familiar faces, and we like that it feels like a community spot. There’s nothing too complicated about how we run things, we just open up and stay as long as there are people waiting to be seen and then go home.
