R H Agrawal Hospital is situated at 382 near the Telephone Office at Swatantra Chowk in Jalgaon HO. It is a central spot in town. Most people just say near the telephone office when they are giving directions to someone. The hospital is a simple structure. We don't have fancy lobbies or expensive art on the walls. It’s about providing medical care to the folks in Jalgaon. We see all kinds of cases every day. The morning starts with the cleaning crew and then the patients start arriving one by one. It can get a bit loud in the waiting area when it's full of families. We try to manage the crowd as best as we can. The doctors here are local people who understand the community. We don’t follow some thick corporate manual. We just talk to people and figure out what’s wrong. The equipment we have is exactly what’s needed for the daily work. Swatantra Chowk is always bustling, so there’s a lot of energy right outside our doors. Sometimes the power goes out in the summer, but we have a backup generator to keep things running. It’s a typical hospital in a typical town. We do our jobs and then we go home. No need for anything more complicated than that. We’ve been part of this chowk for years and we know the tea stall owner next door well.
