Pushpai Muralidhar Fegade Foundation

Our place is in Maskawad Sim, which is a small village in the Raver Taluka of Jalgaon district. It’s a rural area, so things move a bit slower here compared to the big cities. The Pushpai Muralidhar Fegade Foundation is basically run from our local premises right here. We don't have a street name or a building number like you see in Mumbai; it’s just the post office address that people use to find us. Most of the people around here are involved in farming, especially bananas, since that’s what Jalgaon is known for. We spend a lot of our time just talking to the local folks and seeing what the village needs. It’s not a formal office with uniforms or anything. Usually, we are just sitting on the porch or in the main room of the house. We have a few desks and some chairs for when people stop by to talk. Sometimes we travel to other parts of Raver, but Maskawad is our home base. It can get very dusty during the dry season, so we’re always cleaning the windows. We don't have a website or fancy brochures. If someone wants to know what we do, they just come by and ask. It’s a very local way of doing things, but it’s how we’ve always operated. We just try to be useful to our neighbors and the families living nearby who might need a hand with something.
