At Praayas Goat Farming And Agro, we spend our days at Pimpalgaon Khurd. That’s in the Bhusawal area of Jalgaon. It’s a simple goat farm and agricultural business. We didn't start this with big dreams of becoming a giant company. We just wanted to work with animals and the land. The goats take up most of our attention. They need feeding, cleaning, and looking after every single day, no matter if it's a holiday or if it's raining. Being in Jalgaon means we deal with a lot of heat, so we have to make sure the animals stay cool and healthy. Our office, if you can call it that, is right there at the post in the village. It’s a very local operation. We know the neighbors and they know us. Sometimes things go wrong, like a fence breaking or a goat getting sick, and we just have to deal with it right then. We don't have a website with fancy photos. We just have the farm. Most of the work is physical and tiring, but there’s a certain peace in it. We also grow some crops when the season allows. It's a busy life but a good one. We just focus on keeping the animals well and the farm running. That’s the reality of what we do here in Pimpalgaon Khurd.
