Om Auto Parts is tucked away in the Sapna Complex at Ajanta Chowk in Jalgaon. We’re actually right below Hotel Sapna, so it’s easy to find if you know that landmark. We’ve got shelves full of parts for all kinds of vehicles, from cars to bigger trucks. It’s a bit of a maze inside with all the cardboard boxes stacked up to the ceiling, but we generally know where everything is. Mostly. Jalgaon is a hot place, so we keep the fans running all day to stay cool. People come in looking for things they can’t find at the bigger shops. We try to keep a good stock, though sometimes we have to wait for a delivery from our suppliers like everyone else. It’s a family-run kind of vibe here. We don’t wear uniforms or have a big corporate manual. We just know cars and what makes them run properly. The traffic at Ajanta Chowk is always loud, so we’ve gotten used to shouting over the noise of the horns and engines outside. It’s a busy spot for sure. We’ve been here long enough that we know most of the local mechanics by their first names. They drop in, grab what they need, and chat for a bit about their day. We don’t do anything too fancy, just sell parts and help people figure out what’s wrong with their vehicles. It’s a simple life in a busy complex.
