North Maharashtra University

We’ve been here at P. O. Box No. 80 Umavi Nagar for a while now. It’s a busy place with students coming and going all the time. Being North Maharashtra University means we have a lot of departments to keep track of. Some days are quite hectic, especially during exam season or when new enrollments start up. You’ll see people walking around the grounds, carrying books and talking about their classes. We try to keep things running smoothly, though there’s always something that needs fixing or a form that needs signing. It’s just the way a big place like this works. The local area around Umavi Nagar has changed over the years, but the university stays pretty much the same at its core. We have lecturers who have been here for decades and new staff just starting out. It’s a mix of old ways and new ideas. Sometimes the administrative side gets a bit bogged down in paperwork, but we get through it. People come here from all over the region to study different subjects. We aren't trying to be anything flashy, just a place where education happens day in and day out. It gets hot here during the summer months, but the campus keeps moving. We focus on the daily tasks, making sure classrooms are open and the schedules are posted on the boards where everyone can see them. It's a lot of work but it feels right being part of the community here.
