Our place is located in Bhavani Peth, which is a pretty well-known part of Jalgaon. We’re at 1723/A2, right where all the daily action happens. It’s a local neighborhood, and we’ve been part of it for a while now. Neervikar Diamonds & Jewels isn't a massive corporation with hundreds of employees. It’s just a small group of us who know a lot about jewellery. We started out because we wanted to have a decent place for people in the Peth to find good stones without having to travel too far. The shop isn't always perfectly tidy, especially when we have a lot of new stock coming in. You might see some boxes on the floor or the staff arguing over what to have for lunch. That’s just the way it is here. We don’t put on an act for anyone. If you come in, we’ll show you what we have and tell you the price. We like the local vibe of Jalgaon. It’s home for us. Sometimes the power goes out for a bit in the afternoon, so we just sit by the window and wait for it to come back. We know our customers by their first names usually. It makes the day go by faster when you're talking to friends instead of just random strangers. We’re just regular people selling nice things.
