Bhaska Market is always loud, and that’s where you’ll find Kismat Hajer Coaching Saloon. We are right here in the heart of Jalgaon. I don’t know why the name says coaching, it’s just something that stuck over the years. We mostly just do hair and shaves. The heat in Jalgaon gets really bad in the summer, so the shop is a place where people come to sit under the fan for a bit. The market outside is full of people buying vegetables and clothes, so there’s always someone popping in. We have these big old mirrors and some lights that flicker sometimes. I’ve been using the same brand of blades for a long time. They work fine. The floor tiles are a bit chipped in the corners. We don't have a lot of space, so things are tucked into corners. The towels need a good wash every day to keep up with the crowd. I usually have my lunch in the back room while listening to the noise of the scooters outside. People in Bhaska Market know us well. They don't expect anything fancy, just a clean look. We take our time with each person. If someone wants a head massage, we do that too. It helps them relax after a long day of working in the heat. It’s just a normal shop doing normal work for the people of Jalgaon day after day.
