Kailas Jaiswal

Kailas Jaiswal is my name and I run my business out of B J Market in Jalgaon. This market is a very old and busy part of the city. I’ve been here for many years now, and the shop is like a second home to me. We don't have a specific category like a big supermarket. It’s more of a general trading spot where we handle what the local market needs at the time. Some days it’s quiet and I just sit with a cup of tea, but most days it’s a bit of a scramble with goods coming in and out. The shop is tucked away among many others, and it’s filled with boxes and stacks of items right up to the ceiling. You won't find any slick marketing posters here. I prefer to just do business with the people I know and those who are sent my way by friends and neighbors. Jalgaon has changed a lot since I started, but B J Market still feels the same—crowded, noisy, and full of life. I don't use a computer for everything; I still like to write things down in my ledger.
