Jain Irrigation Systems Ltd.

Our place is over at Jain Fields, right off National Highway No. 6 in Bambhori. It is a bit of a trek if you are coming from the city, but we like being out here where the actual farming happens. We have a P. O. Box 72 for our mail, but most of the action is right here on the grounds. The fields are where we test things out and see how the water actually flows through the pipes. It is a lot different than just looking at a drawing in an office. The sun can be pretty brutal during the summer months, and the dust from the highway tends to settle on everything, but that is just part of the job. We have been in Bambhori for a long time, and the locals know us well. Sometimes we just sit outside during our break and watch the traffic go by on the highway. We are mostly focused on getting the irrigation stuff right so the crops don't suffer. It is not always perfect, and sometimes a pipe leaks or a pump acts up, but we stay until it is fixed. We are just a bunch of people who know a thing or two about moving water around. If you ever find yourself out this way near the highway, you will see the signs for the fields. It is a hard-working spot, and we are proud of the dirt on our boots.
