Famous Cold Drinks

Our shop is in Karle Village, which is part of the Dondaicha Post area in Shindkhede Taluka. We are right near the stadium, so on match days, things can get a little bit wild around here. Famous Cold Drinks is just a local spot where we keep the fridges stocked. We live nearby, so it’s easy for us to open up early and stay late if there is a crowd. The village is mostly quiet, but we get people coming in from the surrounding farms and the schools. We don’t have a big corporate team or anything like that. It’s just a couple of us making sure the coolers are cold and the crates are full. Sometimes the dust from the stadium grounds blows in, so we are always wiping down the glass. We have a few benches outside where people sit and talk. It’s a basic place, nothing too special to look at, just a lot of colorful bottles and the hum of the refrigerators. We’ve been here in Shindkhede for a while now. We know the postman and the folks who work at the stadium. When it’s hot, everyone comes looking for something cold, and that’s when we work the hardest. We just keep the supply coming in from the bigger towns. It’s a steady life here in Karle. We don’t ask for much, just a bit of business and some good weather.
