Ajantha Collection

We've been over here at Shop No. 2 in Jai Bhole Market for a while now. Baliram Peth is always busy, especially near Manohar Sarees. Our place isn't huge, but it's packed with things people look for. We mostly keep various collections of clothes. It gets crowded on weekends, so sometimes it's hard to move around in the aisles. We just keep the shelves stocked and try to help when someone asks for a specific size. It’s a lot of folding and unfolding all day. The lights inside are a bit bright, but it helps to see the colors clearly. We don't really do much fancy stuff. People come in, look at the racks, and pick what they like. Most of our neighbors know us by now. It’s just how things go here. We open up in the morning and stay until the market starts to quiet down in the evening. There is always tea being passed around the market, which is nice. Dealing with suppliers takes up a lot of the back-room time. We try to keep things organized, but in a small shop, things get messy fast when it's busy. That's just part of the job. We aren't trying to change the world, just selling clothes in Baliram Peth. If you're walking past the Manohar Sarees area, you'll see us right there. It’s a practical little spot for locals to find what they need without traveling too far into the bigger city centers. We just keep it simple.
