We are based out of Golani Market, on the second floor at C-27. If you have ever been to the market, you know it is a place that never really stops. There is always someone shouting, someone carrying something heavy, or a deal being made. Our office is a bit of an escape from that noise, being up on the second floor, though the sounds of the crowd still drift up. It is a very practical place to be. We are engineers and contractors, so we do not need a lot of fluff. The office is full of rolls of paper, pens that sometimes do not work, and a few dusty chairs for when someone drops in. We have been in this spot for years, and we know all the other shopkeepers and office folks around the block. Working in a market like Golani gives you a very realistic view of how business happens in this town. It is gritty and fast. We do not spend much time worrying about how the office looks to outsiders. We care more about making sure the figures are right and the projects are moving. It is a bit cramped sometimes when everyone is in at once, but we make it work. It is just how things go for a local outfit like ours. We are just people doing our jobs in a busy market.
