Aakash Ice Factory

This is our ice factory located at Plot No. 32 in the Dadasar Vv Patil Co. area, right opposite the industrial estate in Faizpur. It’s not a retail shop where you’d sit down for a sundae. We are a factory, so it’s a bit loud and there is always water on the floors from the ice blocks. We produce ice for the local shops and businesses around Faizpur. The machines are large and they run for most of the day and night to keep up with the demand. You can hear the hum and the clanking of the metal molds all the time. It gets very cold inside the production area, which is a big contrast to the heat outside in the industrial estate. We have trucks coming in and out at all hours to pick up loads of ice. The yard can get a bit muddy when it rains, but that’s just the nature of the location. We work hard to keep the cycles going so we don't run out of stock during the peak summer months. It’s a heavy job, moving the big blocks and loading them up. There’s not much for decoration here, just concrete walls and heavy machinery. We’ve been operating in Faizpur for a while and we know the needs of the local vendors well. It’s a practical business, focusing on production and delivery rather than looking fancy.
