Our place is at number 79 in Prem Nagar, over in Orai. It’s a standard spot, nothing too flashy about it. We have some desks and a few old computers that occasionally act up. Uttar Pradesh summers are tough, so the fan is always running in the corner. We deal with a lot of local stuff, people dropping by to ask about projects or just to see if we’re hiring. Most of the time we are just looking at schedules and trying to make sure the guys on the ground have what they need. The tea stall nearby is where we spend most of our breaks. Life moves at its own pace here. We aren't trying to impress anyone with a big glass building. It's just an office where we get the work done. The street gets a bit muddy when it rains, so we spend a lot of time cleaning the floors. We have a couple of filing cabinets that are bulging with old records. Sometimes it takes a while to find what you're looking for. We just keep at it, day after day. It’s honest work and we know the people around here. If you need to find us, just look for the gate near the end of the lane. We don't have a big neon sign or anything like that. Just us in there, sorting out the paperwork and keeping the contracting side of things moving along as best we can.
