Zoloto Industries

Zoloto Industries is located at the 11th Mile Stone on Nakodar Road. The building is called Zoloto House and it’s right there in Lambra. Being out on the highway like this means we see a lot of trucks and commuters passing by every hour. We manufacture valves and other fittings. It’s a big operation, and there is always something going on in the production area. We have a lot of people working here, from the guys on the casting floor to the ones in the warehouse packing things up. The road outside can get pretty dusty, especially during the dry months. We’ve been at this spot for a long time, so we’ve become a bit of a landmark for people driving toward Nakodar. Our daily routine is mostly about keeping the production lines running. There is a lot of heat involved in what we do, so it’s tough work. We don't really do much in the way of fancy stuff. We just focus on making sure the valves are solid and ready for use. Sometimes we have visitors coming in to see the facility, and we just show them around the actual workspace. It’s not a polished showroom; it’s a factory. We usually have tea together in the afternoons to take a break from the noise of the machines. It’s a straightforward life out here on the road. We do our jobs and then head home once the shift is done.
