Wearwell International operates from 69, Globe Colony. The name might sound a bit formal, but we are just a regular garment workshop. Most of our space is filled with sewing machines, cutting tables, and different types of fabric. We’ve been at this address for quite a while now. Globe Colony is a relatively quiet area, which is nice when we are trying to focus on the stitching. We aren't a big fashion house with designers in fancy offices. It’s mostly just us in our work clothes making sure the seams are strong and the sizes are right. Sometimes a machine breaks down, and we have to spend half the day fixing it ourselves. That is just how things go in a place like this. We make basic clothes that people can actually wear every day. The building is a bit older, so it gets pretty warm during the summer months, even with all the fans running. We try to keep our orders moving so the workshop doesn't get too overcrowded with finished goods. It’s a small team of workers here. We know each other well and we just get on with the job. We aren't trying to change the world or anything like that. We just want to make sure the clothes we send out are decent and that the fabric holds up after a few washes.
