Vm Arora & Company is on the first floor of Plot No 152 in Lajpat Nagar, Jalandhar. You can find us right opposite the Red Cross Bhawan. It’s a pretty central location, which makes it easy for people to find us when they have tax questions or need their books checked. The stairs up to the first floor are a bit narrow, but once you're inside, it’s a decent space. We have our desks set up with all the usual office supplies and computers. Jalandhar is a busy place, and Lajpat Nagar always has something going on. Being across from the Red Cross Bhawan means there’s always people moving around outside. Inside, we just try to keep things quiet so we can focus on the audits. We aren't a big firm with hundreds of employees; we are just a local group doing our jobs. Every day involves a lot of typing and checking rows of numbers. It’s not the most exciting work for everyone, but we’ve been doing it a long time. The files are organized by year, and we try to keep the dust off them. We like being in this part of town because it’s accessible. Usually, our days are filled with phone calls and meetings with local business owners who need their accounts managed. We just get through the pile of work one page at a time. It’s a straightforward way to earn a living in the city and it keeps us busy.
