Vikas Spices

You can find Vikas Spices at 805/104 in the New Brahm Colony. We are right near the Bangali Depot. It’s a quiet residential street, but we’ve got our little setup here. We deal with all sorts of spices. The kitchen area is where most of the work happens. We roast the spices before grinding them because it makes them smell better. It’s a smell that sticks to everything. We have some basic grinders that we use throughout the day. The noise can be a bit much, but the neighbors are used to it by now. We are a small family-run business. My brother and I do most of the heavy lifting. We buy the seeds and pods in bulk and then process them. It’s a lot of work to sift through everything and make sure there are no stones or dirt. We pack everything into small plastic pouches by hand. It’s a slow process, but we aren't in a huge rush. We sell to the local grocery stores around the colony. They know us and we know them. We don't have any fancy labels, just simple stickers. We don't spend money on ads. We just hope that if someone likes the taste, they’ll come back for more. It’s a humble way to earn a living, and we’re happy with it. Most days we are just busy with the grinding and packing.
