You can find Valvco International over on Kapurthala Road in the Basti Bawa Khel area. It’s a busy stretch of road, and we’ve become a bit of a fixture here over the years. Our building isn't anything special to look at from the outside, but it’s where everything happens. We spend our days dealing with valves of all shapes and sizes. It’s a lot of manual work and checking things over. We have a small group of workers who have been with us through thick and thin. We don’t really follow a strict corporate manual. Instead, we rely on what we’ve learned from doing the work every day. Sometimes the delivery trucks get stuck in traffic on the way here, which can throw our schedule off, but we always catch up. It’s just how things are in this part of town. We don't spend money on big ads or slick presentations. Most of our customers find us because they heard we do a decent job for a fair price. We like keeping things straightforward. If a job is too big for us, we say so. If we can do it, we get it done as fast as the machines allow. It’s not a glamorous life, but it’s honest. The workshop smells like metal and oil, which is exactly how it should be. We just keep our heads down and stay busy.
