We are based at Trust Us Immigration & Educational Consultants Pvt Ltd, which is on the first floor of Nirmal Complex. If you are heading towards Namdev Chowk on G T Road in Jalandhar, you will see the complex there. It’s a busy intersection and there’s always a lot of traffic, especially in the mornings. Being on the first floor means we get a bit of a view of the street, but it also means we hear all the horns honking throughout the day. The office is full of files and folders because immigration work involves a lot of documents. We spend most of our time at our desks checking forms and talking to students who want to study somewhere else. It’s a plain office, nothing very stylish, just some tables and chairs and a lot of paper. Namdev Chowk is a landmark most people in Jalandhar know, so it’s not too hard for folks to find their way to us. We try to keep things simple here. We don’t have a big team, just a few of us who know the routines. Sometimes it gets a bit crowded when a few families come in at the same time, but we manage. Jalandhar is a place where everyone seems to be looking for a way to go abroad, so we stay fairly busy with the day-to-day stuff. It is just a regular office where we do our daily work.
