Shastri Market is the kind of place where something is always happening, whether it’s deliveries coming in or people moving through the narrow lanes. Our office is right in the middle of all that energy. It’s a modest space, filled with the usual stacks of paper and old wooden furniture that has seen a lot of use. We’ve been here long enough to know most of the shopkeepers around us. The smells from the dhaba often drift over around lunchtime, which is a nice distraction. It can get a bit crowded around here, especially during the festive seasons, but that’s just life in Central Town. We don’t have a big reception or anything like that. When you walk in, you’re likely to see us busy at our desks. It’s a practical environment for the kind of work we do. We like being centrally located because it’s easy for people to reach us from different parts of the city. There is no pretense here; it’s just a group of us working through the daily grind in a part of town we know by heart.
