Tanntex India

Tanntex India is based out of units 192 and 193 in the Leather Complex. If you have ever been to this area, you know it’s all about the trade. The smell of leather is something you just get used to after a few days of being here. Our space is basically a workshop and a small office combined into one. We spend most of our hours looking at hides and checking the quality of the materials coming in from our suppliers. It is physically demanding work and not very clean, but it’s what we know how to do. The complex is a maze of different businesses all doing similar things, so there is a lot of movement throughout the day. We don't have a receptionist or a lobby. You just walk in and you'll probably find one of us handling the stock or talking to a supplier on the phone. We’ve been at this for years and haven't felt the need to change much about how we operate. The building is sturdy and functional, which is all we really need to get the job done. Our focus is just on getting the orders ready and sent out on time. We don't talk much about things like corporate excellence, we just focus on the leather in front of us. It is a straightforward business run by real people who work hard.
