Sukrit Machine Tool is over in Kartarpur at House Number 345 in the Arya Nager area. Jatinder Kumar is the one who looks after things, and he’s the son of Sh. Lal Chand, so the family has been in this area for a long time. Kartarpur is a busy place with a lot of people working in different trades, and we fit right in with our machine tool work. It isn’t a massive factory with shiny floors; it’s more of a practical workshop where there is always some noise from the machines running. We spend most of our day dealing with tools and mechanical parts that need to be sorted out for various clients. Arya Nager is a local residential and commercial mix, so you see neighbors walking by while we are loading or unloading stuff. It can get a bit dusty and loud, but that is part of the job when you are dealing with machine tools every day. We don't have a fancy reception desk or anything like that. Usually, you’ll find someone in the back working on a lathe or checking a blueprint. We just focus on getting the orders ready and making sure the machines we work on are in good shape. It’s honest work that keeps us on our feet from morning until the sun goes down. Most of the guys here have lived in Kartarpur their whole lives, so we know the community pretty well.
