Soccer Tanneries

Soccer Tanneries is located on Basti Sheikh Road, which is a pretty industrial part of town. We’ve been here for a good while now, dealing with the tanning process. It’s a tough job and not very glamorous, to be honest. The yard is usually full of raw skins and the smell of the chemicals we use. It’s a loud place with the machines running and the guys shouting to be heard over the noise. We don't have a fancy office or even a proper sign sometimes. It’s just the place where the work happens. Basti Sheikh Road is always busy with carts and workers, and we’re just one part of that daily bustle. We don't talk much about visions or anything like that. We just know how to turn a hide into leather, and that’s what we focus on. It’s been a family-style operation for a long time. We have our regulars who come by, and they know what to expect. The work is dirty and the days are long, but there’s a certain satisfaction in finishing a batch of leather. We just keep our heads down and stay busy with the tanning. It's a simple, practical life here on the road. There are plenty of other shops nearby doing the same thing, so we just fit right in with the neighborhood and the local rhythm.
