Sahib Homeopathic Clinic

My clinic is over at Ladhewali Road in Chuggitti. It is called Sahib Homeopathic Clinic. It is just me and a little bit of help most days. I like the way homeopathy works because it lets me get to know the people who come in. We sit down in my small office and they tell me about what is bothering them. It is not just about a quick pill. Sometimes we talk for a long time. Chuggitti is a quiet enough area, but Ladhewali Road has its busy moments. I have lived in this area for a long time, so I know a lot of the families. Often, a mother will bring her child in because the child’s grandfather used to come to me. That makes me feel like I am doing something right. The clinic has a lot of wooden shelves with small glass bottles. It has a specific smell, mostly from the different tinctures we use. It is a very calm environment compared to the busy street outside. I do not use any fancy computer systems for appointments; I just write them down in a big ledger. It is a bit old-fashioned, I know, but it works for me. People do not seem to mind the wait. They come here when they want someone to actually listen to them. I will keep doing this as long as I can. It is a simple life, helping people feel a bit better one day at a time.
