Rpm International is over at House No. 219 on Nehru Garden Road. It is an easy enough place to find once you get on the right street. We deal with export and import stuff, mostly parts and various goods that go overseas or come from far away. There is always a lot of paperwork with customs and shipping dates that keep changing. You think a container is arriving on Tuesday, but then it gets held up at the port. That’s just the way it goes. The office is usually cluttered with samples and thick folders. We drink a lot of tea while we wait for calls from different time zones. It can be a bit stressful when a client is asking where their stuff is. We try to keep track of everything, but sometimes things get misplaced for a minute. Nehru Garden Road is usually busy, so there is a lot of background noise from the street. We’ve got a small team here. Most of us have been doing this for years, so we know the shortcuts and the common mistakes to avoid. It isn't a flashy office, just desks and computers and a lot of grit. We don't have a big sign out front, so you have to look for the house number. Some days we stay late to finish the logs. It's just honest work, keeping things moving from one place to another. We handle a bit of everything, depending on what the market is doing that month.
