Renu Talwar

I’m Renu Talwar and I work out of Talwar Hospital, which is located at 81- R in Model Town, Jalandhar. The hospital has been a part of this community for quite some time now. It’s not one of those massive, glass-walled buildings you see in the big metros. It’s a more traditional hospital setting where we know our patients by name. We handle a variety of medical cases here every day. My days are usually filled with rounds and checking on people in the wards. Model Town is a well-known area, so people find us pretty easily. The building itself has some history to it, and we try to keep it well-maintained, though it’s always a work in progress. We don’t have a huge PR department or anything like that. We just focus on the medical work. The nurses and the support staff have been here for years, and we work like a small team. It can be stressful at times, especially when the emergency room gets busy, but we just put our heads down and do what’s necessary. We aren't trying to be the biggest hospital in Jalandhar, just a reliable one. People come to us because they trust the care they get here. We keep our procedures simple and try to talk to families in plain English so they understand what’s happening. It’s just how we’ve always done things at Talwar Hospital.
