Ratra Rahul Architect

Our office is located at Hig-227 in the Housing Board Colony. It’s part of Urban Estate Phase-I, so it is a pretty quiet area for the most part. Ratra Rahul Architect is basically just us working on drawings and building plans all day. We spend a lot of time looking at site maps and trying to figure out how to make spaces work better for people. It’s not a huge corporate firm, just a dedicated spot where we sit with our drafting tables and computers. Sometimes the coffee machine breaks, and the desk gets buried under rolls of blue-prints, but that’s how it goes when you're busy. We’ve been at this address for some time now. People come by when they want to renovate a house or start a new project from scratch. We listen to what they need and then we get to sketching. It’s a lot of back and forth. Sometimes a design takes longer than expected because the details matter. We don't use big words to describe what we do. It is just about solid walls, good light, and making sure the roof stays up. The neighborhood is nice, and we usually have someone here during normal hours if you want to drop in. It’s a practical workspace for practical building ideas. We handle the paperwork too, which is the boring part but someone has to do it. We have been in the colony for years and we've seen houses go up and down all around us. It gives us a good perspective.
