Punjab Metal Works

Our shop is right on the G.T. Road in Maqsudan. If you know the area, you know how busy that road gets. It’s a constant stream of traffic. We’ve been at this location for a really long time, and we even still use a post box number, 832. Working with metal is a noisy, dirty job, and we don't try to hide that. When you walk in, you’re going to see grease and hear the sound of hammers or machines. It’s just the way it is. We aren’t interested in having a showroom that looks like a museum. We’d rather have tools that work and a floor that can handle the weight. The people who work here are good with their hands. They don’t say much, but they know how to get the job done. We’ve had some of the same customers for decades. They come to us because they know we’ve been here forever and we aren't going anywhere. It’s a family-run kind of feel, even if we aren't all related. We eat lunch together most days and talk about the news or the weather. It’s a simple life. We don't have any big corporate goals written on the wall. We just focus on the piece of metal in front of us. It’s practical work for practical people. That’s what we do here at Punjab Metal Works on the G.T. Road.
