Punjab Hospital

Punjab Hospital is located at 287 Defence Colony in Jalandhar. This is mostly a residential area, so it’s a bit quieter than being right in the middle of the city market, but it still has its fair share of activity. We’ve been operating out of this building for a long time. It’s a standard local hospital where we take in all sorts of medical cases. We have a few wards and a small emergency room that stays open all night. The staff here are like a small family; some of the nurses have been with us since we first opened the doors years ago. It’s not a fancy corporate hospital with a lobby that looks like a hotel. It looks like a place where work gets done. The floors are clean but worn down from years of people walking on them. We see a lot of people from the colony and the nearby neighborhoods. Sometimes we have to deal with the typical city problems, like a leak in the roof during the monsoon or the street lights outside flickering when it rains. We just handle things as they come and try to keep everyone comfortable. There is a small tea shop just outside the gate where the relatives of patients usually hang out and chat. It’s a very local atmosphere. We don't spend money on big ads; people just know we are here when they need a doctor and they come by.
