Pruthi Hospital

You can find Pruthi Hospital at number 301 in Lajpat Nagar. We are right near the Macdonald, which is where everyone usually tells people to turn. Lajpat Nagar is a loud and colorful place, and our hospital sits right in the middle of all that energy. Inside, it’s a different story. We try to keep a bit of calm for the patients who are staying with us. The building isn't brand new, so you might see a crack in the paint here or there, but it’s solid. We have several rooms for people to stay in, and the nurses are always moving from one to the other. Sometimes the smell of food from the nearby stalls drifts in if the windows are open. We spend a lot of time talking to families in the hallways about their relatives. It’s a place where a lot happens every day, from small checkups to more serious things. We have a small cafeteria in the back where the staff gets their tea and snacks. Most of us have worked here for years, so we know each other's habits pretty well. We don't use big words or try to act like we are better than any other local hospital. We just provide a place for people to come when they aren't feeling well. It’s a busy, sometimes messy, but very real part of Lajpat Nagar.
