Prospo India

Prospo India is out in the Leather Complex, specifically at 224 in the Dry Area. It is an industrial part of town, so there is always a lot of dust and the sound of machinery in the air. We have a workshop here where we make various sports goods and leather items. It is a big, open space and it gets quite loud when all the machines are running at once. We have a team of workers who have been with us for a long time. They know the craft well. We don't have a fancy office or a place to sit and have meetings. Usually, we just talk on the shop floor over the noise. The smell of tanned leather is very strong here, but we are used to it by now. We focus on making things that are strong and hold up well. We don't spend money on advertising or shiny brochures. Most of our work comes from people who know what we do and come back to us. It is a tough environment sometimes, especially in the summer when the tin roof gets hot. We just keep the fans going and get the work done. The trucks come and go all day long picking up orders. It is a busy place but we like the pace of it. We are just a local factory doing our thing in the complex.
