Patpatia Jaskirat Singh Architect

I’m located at 82, New Jawahar Nagar. It’s a decent spot, and I’ve been working from here as an architect for several years. The office is part of the building where I spend most of my waking hours. It’s filled with architectural magazines and half-finished models made of cardboard. I find that I work best when things are a bit messy around me. My process isn't very formal; I usually start with some sketches and then move to the computer. I don't really have a big staff, so when you call, you’re usually talking to me directly. That’s just how I prefer it. It saves on the back-and-forth. The neighborhood is fairly active, and I sometimes take walks to clear my head when I’m stuck on a design. It’s a job that requires a lot of patience, especially when waiting for approvals or for a contractor to call back. I’ve seen a lot of changes in the local area over the years, and I’ve worked on quite a few of the nearby buildings. It’s honest work, and I take it seriously even if I don't wear a suit every day. My desk is usually covered in coffee cups and scale rulers. It’s a bit of a second home to me. I just like to get things done and see the finished result after months of work on a single project.
