Pal Hospital

Being in Partap Bagh means we see a lot of the same faces every week. Pal Hospital isn't one of those massive buildings where you get lost in the hallways. It is a bit more compact than that. We have been here for a good while and the walls probably need a new coat of paint soon. Every morning starts with checking the supplies and making sure the floors are scrubbed. It gets busy around ten when people start showing up for their appointments. We have some beds in the back for folks who need to stay a bit longer. The nurses are usually running around trying to keep up with the paperwork. It’s a lot of writing things down and checking charts. Sometimes the tea man comes by and that’s the best part of the afternoon. We deal with regular stuff mostly, like fevers or small accidents. Nothing too flashy. The entrance is right there in Partap Bagh, easy to spot if you are looking for it. We don't really do big advertisements or anything like that. People just know us because we have been around. It can be loud when the traffic picks up outside, but inside we try to keep it steady. Working in a hospital means you don't really get a day off, but that is just how it is. We keep the doors open and do what needs doing for the people around here without making a big fuss about anything.
