Nidhi Mobile Shop Gift Centre

Our shop is at Wj 182, right in the middle of Main Bazar in Basti Guzan. If you know Jalandhar, you know how crowded the Main Bazar gets, especially in the evenings. Nidhi Mobile Shop Gift Centre is where we spend most of our lives. It’s a tight space with mobile phones on one side and all kinds of gift items on the other. We get all sorts of people walking in, some just looking for a recharge and others looking for a nice vase or a set of mugs for a gift. The shop gets quite noisy with the traffic outside and the people talking, but that’s just how it is in the bazaar. We don't have a big marketing plan or anything like that. We just open the shutters, sweep the floor, and wait for the first customer. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to use the small inverter, which only runs one fan. It’s a real struggle during the summer heat. But we keep going because the community here depends on us for their small needs. We’ve been in Basti Guzan for years and we know most of the people who walk past our door. It’s a simple business, nothing more and nothing less. We just try to keep the stuff people want in stock.
