Our hospital, New Himalayan Hills Multi-Speciality Hospital Private Limited, is located at H No 1 B 5, Gandhi Gram, Jeevan Garden, right off the GT Road. Being near the GT Road means there is always a lot of noise and movement outside our doors. The building is situated in the Gandhi Gram area, which is a fairly well-known spot. We have a multi-speciality setup, so we handle a bit of everything, from minor injuries to more serious cases that need a longer stay. The layout of the place is a bit old-fashioned, with long corridors and different wings for the various departments. It takes a little while for new visitors to figure out where they are going. We have a small team of doctors and nurses who have been with us for years. The waiting room gets pretty packed in the mornings, and sometimes there are not enough chairs, so people end up leaning against the walls. It is a bit messy at times, but we try to keep things moving. We do not have any flashy advertisements or big promises. We just open up every day and take care of the people who walk in from the GT Road or the nearby neighborhoods. It is a lot of hard work and staying late to finish up charts, but it is what we do here in Gandhi Gram. We keep at it daily.
