National Travel Overseas

National Travel Overseas is at number 44 on the first floor of the Central Market. Like a lot of places in Jalandhar, we are situated behind Hotel Residency and not too far from Narinder Cinema. It’s a busy spot, and sometimes finding a place to park a bike is the hardest part of the morning. The office is basically just a couple of rooms with some desks pushed together. We have a lot of maps and brochures lying around, though most people just want us to look things up on the internet anyway. The floor tiles are a bit chipped in the corner and the clock on the wall ticks quite loudly when it’s quiet, which isn't very often. We usually have the radio playing some local station in the background while we work. It’s a lot of talking to people and trying to explain how things work with visas and tickets. Sometimes we get a bit behind on the filing, but we catch up eventually. The stairs up to the first floor are a bit steep, so we tell people to take their time. It’s just a normal local business where we try to stay on top of things. We don't really have a big team, just a few of us who have known each other for years. It works out fine for us and the people who come to see us. We’ve been here for a good while.
