We’ve been here at Street No. 6 in Abadpura for a while now. It’s a busy spot and sometimes the trucks make it hard to get through the lane, but we manage. Most days start with a quick tea before the machines get going. There’s a lot of noise, but that’s just how it is in this part of town. We aren't a big fancy operation with a glass front door or anything like that. It’s just us working through the orders as they come in. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to sit outside for a bit, talking to the neighbors from the shops next door. Everyone knows everyone around here. We don’t have a big marketing team writing things for us. I’m just writing this down because people ask what we do. We handle the metal work and whatever else needs finishing. The floor gets dusty and by the end of the shift, we’re all ready to head home. It’s not always pretty, but the work gets done and that’s what matters to us. My nephew helped me set up the computer stuff, but mostly we’re just focused on the shop floor. If you walk down Street No. 6, you’ll find us easily. Just look for the gate that’s always halfway open. It’s a decent place to work and we’ve been at it long enough to know the routine by heart now.
