Metro Hospital & Maternity Home

This is Metro Hospital & Maternity Home in Jalandhar. We are located at Sukh Niwas on Nakodar Road. Specifically, it’s 150 New Deol Nagar. Dr. Iqbal S Bhogal started this place and his residence is right here too. It’s a local hospital, the kind where you see the same families coming in year after year. We deal with a lot of births and general health checkups. The waiting room isn’t very large and it can get quite crowded on Monday mornings. There is always the sound of kids crying or people talking in the halls. It’s a lively environment, though it can be stressful when the beds are all full. We don’t have the latest fancy robots or anything like that. We just have doctors and nurses who have been doing this for a long time and know how to treat people. The building itself is an older one and has a lot of character. We spend a lot of time updating patient records by hand or on the old computer in the corner. People in Jalandhar know us as a place that is reliable and doesn't charge for things they don't need. It’s honest work and it feels good to help out the neighbors. We don’t have a marketing team or anything like that. Word of mouth is how most people find their way to Sukh Niwas. It is a busy, noisy, but caring place.
