Mahi Salon & Boutique

Down here in Rama Mandi on Hosiarpur Road, we’ve got this little place called Mahi Salon & Boutique. It’s a bit of a mix, really. On one side you’ve got the hair stuff going on and then there’s the boutique part with fabrics and sewing. It makes for a busy atmosphere, especially on the weekends when everyone seems to want something done at the same time. The shop is in Jalandhar, 144005, and it’s been our spot for a while. It’s not like those shiny places you see in the big malls. We’ve got thread on the floor over there and hair clippings over here. Sometimes it’s a bit of a mess, but that’s how work goes. I usually spend the day jumping between helping someone pick out a suit style and then going back to trim someone’s hair. The tea stall nearby brings us cups throughout the day, which helps keep us going. We don’t have a fancy waiting room, just a couple of stools where people sit and chat while they wait their turn. The windows get a bit dusty from the road traffic outside, so we’re always wiping them down when there’s a quiet moment. It’s just a local business run by people who live right here in the area. We don't overthink it much. We just open up, do the work the best we can, and hope the electricity stays on all day.
