Lovely Cafe & Travels

This place is a bit of a mix, being both a cafe and a travel spot. We sit right on Shimla Pahari Road in Urmar Tanda. It’s a handy combination because people can grab a bite or a coffee while they talk to us about their travel plans. It’s usually pretty casual in here. You might smell fresh food while we’re looking up bus tickets or car rentals. The cafe side has a few tables and chairs that have seen a lot of use over the years. We started out just doing one thing, but then realized people needed both, so we combined them. It works out okay for everyone involved. My brother usually handles the kitchen while I sit at the computer for the travel side. It gets quite lively in the afternoons when the local crowd comes in to relax. We don't have any fancy decor, just some basic stuff that works for us. The road outside can be busy, especially with people heading up towards Shimla. We get travelers passing through who just need a quick snack and some directions. We’ve been here in Tanda for quite a while now. It’s a family business through and through. We aren't a big chain or anything, just a local shop trying to make a living. Sometimes we run out of a certain dish or the internet goes down, but we just apologize and get on with it. It’s a simple, honest way to run a business every day.
