Leo Wet Blue Leather Pvt. Ltd. operates from several units—6, 7, 8, and 118—inside the Leather Complex on Kapurthala Road in Jalandhar. Being in Punjab and specifically in the leather hub means we are right in the middle of everything. The complex is a huge place and it’s always buzzing with activity. We have been working with leather here for a long time. It’s hard work and it can get quite smelly and wet, given the nature of what we do. Our units are mostly used for processing and storage. We don’t have any fancy showrooms. We just have our space where the work gets done every day. Most of the people working here are locals who have been in the trade for years. We spend our time checking the quality of the hides and making sure the tanning process is going okay. It’s a lot of heavy lifting and manual labor. We don’t really bother with marketing because the work usually speaks for itself among those who know the industry.
