Kumar Clinic

You can find our clinic right on Chandigarh Road in Nawanshahr. Being on the main road means we get a lot of people stopping by who are just passing through, as well as the locals who live nearby. It is a busy stretch of road, so there is always the sound of trucks and cars going past. The clinic itself is a modest building. We have not done much to the outside in years, but everyone knows where we are. Inside, things are pretty plain. We have a small waiting area and the consultation room. We do not have a big team of secretaries; it is usually just a couple of us handling everything from the front door to the back. It can get a bit dusty with all the traffic on Chandigarh Road, so we spend a lot of time cleaning up. We do not have a lot of fancy equipment that makes beeping noises, just the essentials for a general check-up. Most of the people who come in are our neighbors or farmers from the nearby areas. We like the fact that it is a simple operation. There is no need for complicated systems when you can just talk to people face to face. We open early because that is when people start their day around here. It is a decent, honest place to get checked out without any of the drama you find in the big city hospitals. We just keep things moving.
